Just got back from the AAR annual meeting (that’s American Academy of Religion), in SF which was a most engaging event. I met with the Western Esotericism crowd, most of whom were traveling from Europe, and presented a paper at an early morning session devoted to bridging the gap between esoteric researcher and practitioner. In addition I got a chance to meet my friend Cassie Thornton, an artist and fellow time-afficionado, who introduced me to a great crowd of folk, and we had an excellent evening of discussion focused on time, autonomy, and calendrics. I imagine I will post more updates and unfoldings as time permits, although I need to focus on my comprehensive exams before I do too much more for the site. Rest assured that slow as the pace of development might be, the site, and surrounding projects are developing, and there are some exciting projects and products in the works. Godspeed!

Welcome to my blog and forums. I had hoped to have a more sophisticated look and general vibe by now, but, alas, life has responsibilities, and time keeps flowing, so it is now as it is now. I want to talk about ideas, about Time, and Magic, and Calendars, and History. I want to talk about living in a society on the brink… the brink of what? We don’t know, but we try to create a better world. So as this place develops I will share my thoughts, and hopefully speak with others about theirs. I think we can bring about a change in how we think, how we use energy, how we view time and meaning. Thanks for being here.
